Meet Your New DEI Committee: 2026–2028 Team 

Join us for an engaging, open dialogue on why diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) remain essential to culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) practice and the field of communication sciences and disorders (CSD). 

Together, we will explore the evolving role of DEI in our profession, particularly as the field increasingly emphasizes person-centered care and shifts away from explicitly addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion. We invite you to share your perspectives, experiences, questions, and ideas as we reflect on the future of our profession. 

This is an opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion, challenge assumptions, learn from one another, and identify meaningful strategies to advance equitable, culturally sustaining, and linguistically responsive practices.
